FAQS

Will my new or resurfaced asphalt crack?

All asphalt surfaces eventually develop cracks due to temperature shifts, moisture, and soil movement. Because these factors are beyond any contractor’s control, Prime Pave LLC cannot guarantee work against future cracking.

Why can’t Prime Pave LLC guarantee against cracking?

Cracking is a natural result of environmental conditions—heat, cold, water, and ground movement. No asphalt contractor can eliminate these forces, so warranties against cracking are not practical or industry‑standard.

What size cracks do you seal?

We use hot‑rubberized crack sealer on large cracks that are ¼ inch (6 mm) wide or wider. Surface hairline cracks or degraded areas are not filled with this material.

What if my pavement already has flaking sealer, standing water, or moss?

These problem areas may continue to fail even after a seal coat. While we do our best to improve the surface, pre‑existing conditions can limit the final result.

How long before I can drive on freshly sealed asphalt?

Please keep all vehicles off the sealed surface for at least 24 hours after completion to ensure proper curing.

When can I turn my sprinklers back on?

Wait 48 hours after the job is finished before running perimeter sprinklers to prevent water damage to the new surface.

Is Prime Pave LLC liable for water damage caused by sprinklers or hoses?

No. Water damage resulting from the customer’s sprinklers or other on‑site water sources is the customer’s responsibility.

Do you cover damage to surrounding concrete or landscaping?

Damage to concrete or other adjacent surfaces is outside the scope of our asphalt contract and is not covered by Prime Pave LLC.

Do you use subcontractors?

Yes. Prime Pave LLC reserves the right to engage qualified subcontractors as needed to complete your project efficiently.

What happens if unforeseen delays occur?

All agreements are subject to weather, material availability, and other unforeseen events. We will communicate promptly and adjust the schedule as necessary.

Will changes or extra work cost more?

Any additional labor or materials—whether due to client revisions or other contractors’ errors—require a written change order and will be billed separately.

Can I cancel after signing the contract?

You may cancel without penalty within three business days of signing. Cancellations after that period may incur partial charges to cover preparations and materials already committed.

When is payment due?

Payment in full is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
